The amount of new puppy advice out there is overwhelming! But take it from me, an educated and certified dog trainer: What you want to be focusing on before your puppy hits 5 months is socialization, with a capital S!
The American Veterinary Society of Veterinary Behaviour recommends socializing puppies to a variety of new people, places, and things before they’ve received all of their vaccines.
If this still sounds overwhelming, don’t worry - I’m here to help start your puppy off right. I can also help you with:

All training starts with a 90-minute virtual consultation with your trainer, Amanda Factor. During this call, Amanda will assess the challenges you’re facing with your dog, identify priorities, and advise you on next steps.
Following the call, you’ll get customized notes and helpful handouts and videos. From there, you can continue training either in-person in Toronto or virtually!

I offer in-home private dog training in Toronto’s west end. Save yourself the time of driving to training classes, and have your dog trained by a pro in the comfort of your home!

Private coaching: I teach you how to train your dog!
Whether you’re in Toronto’s west end or anywhere in the world, we can meet up in-person or virtually for private coaching sessions. Learn from a professional dog trainer who will guide you on your dog’s training journey with absolutely zero judgment, easy-to-follow homework, and a sense of humour.
