DOG ENRICHMENT SESSIONS
DOG ENRICHMENT IN TORONTO
What is a dog enrichment session?
An enrichment session is a private 45-minute experience, designed by certified trainer Amanda Factor, CTC to meet the needs of dogs who aren’t a good fit for group walks with a dog walker. These sessions are perfect for reactive dogs, senior dogs, puppies, or any dog who isn’t a “pack walk” type of pup.
Private enrichment sessions take place in your home in Toronto’s west end (please check service area map). Schedule them as-needed, whenever your dog needs some extra attention!
Book a free 15-minute virtual meet & greet to learn more!
If your dog needs help with fear, aggression, or severe reactivity, please contact me about a behaviour consultation instead.
How can enrichment help my dog’s behaviour?
A number of behaviour issues are the result of unmet needs in our dogs. A dog may bounce off the walls, bark excessively, pull on leash, or destroy things simply because they are bored and don’t have enough stimulation.
As a certified trainer, I often recommend increased enrichment to my clients as part of their overall training plan. It isn’t always the entire solution, but it can only help.
These sessions are also perfect for:
• Dogs who aren’t a good fit for group dog walks
• Nervous or reactive dogs
• Senior dogs
• Dogs recovering from surgery
• Puppies who need safe exposure to new objects and people
Single session: $53
8 sessions: $400
Prices are subject to HST. Session packages are non-refundable and expire 6 months from date of purchase.
What does an enrichment session look like?

“Basically, the best.”
“Amanda is awesome. She treats our dog with warmth, compassion and boundless enthusiasm. She’s also got a tickle trunk full of enrichment activities that stimulate and excite our dog. Basically, the best.
-Bradley & Aggie

“An amazing resource!”
“Amanda is an amazing human with an absolute well of compassion, knowledge and tools - especially for reactive dogs, like my own. Her digital resources (on Instagram) and her in-person know-how combined with her gentle and curious approach to dogs is a potent combination. I will continue to work with Amanda, who kindly brings an arsenal of toys and treats to help support enrichment activities with my sweetie. She’s an amazing human and resource and my little family is very lucky to have her around.

No! I’m happy to work with your dog while you’re at work or running errands. Simply make sure I have a way of accessing your home. You can provide a key or code, or leave a key in a lock box for me.
For liability reasons, I will not accept keys left in mailboxes or other unsecure locations. -
The sessions are available Monday-Friday from approximately 12:30pm - 1:15pm. I may arrive slightly earlier or later depending on that day’s schedule.

Sessions outside of regular business hours may be available depending on my availability.
If you have a special request, please email Amanda with at least 24 hours’ notice, and I’ll do my best to book you in! -
If your dog enjoys being outside, his or her session can include outdoor enrichment activities, such as foraging, sniff walks, and outdoor agility. If the weather is poor, outdoor time may be shortened in favour of indoor activities.
If needed, I can ensure your dog gets a bathroom break, even if the majority of the session is indoors. -
Aside from a space in your house, nope! I’ll bring everything we need, from high-value treats to toys to leashes and poop bags (if we go outdoors).
